Road Safety Management

SaferAfrica project is committed to carry out road safety and traffic management capacity reviews for a number of African countries at the country level, based on international methodologies.

The objective is to systematically assess the status of road safety and traffic management, developing proposals for remedial and sustainable activities throughout the African continent. Where necessary, SaferAfrica works for developing and proposing legislative and organizational reforms in order to systematically improve road safety management and, in particular, to reduce injury-related road traffic crashes.

In doing so, the project is committed to develop and identify key performance indicators and key result areas with a view to incorporate them within revised road safety strategy and action plan.
